Young girls in Zimbabwe and India power up!
I post to offer my thoughts, entrepreneurial journey of building a coaching business, but most of all to the hope of offering value for others. Perhaps that post, that day, can make a tiny shift for someone? I like to believe it does.
Empower young girls by teaching them self-defense and going for higher education:
So, in the spirit of shifts – one thing we do need to shift on a large scale is the violence against other humans. Especially women and children. For that to happen many girls need to learn to physically defend themselves, so that they don´t freeze or submit when their boundaries are being overstepped, and they are. Every day, in the most humiliating ways.
Also, the access to higher education is not possible for many girls because they are being violated, and much talent goes to waste. Our future simply cant´t afford or allow that to continue.
Fortunate then, that FairFight in Rotterdam run by young academics and karatekas, help girls and young women in Africa and India to learn how to defend themselves, and go for higher education. FairFight is incredibly well run, and I trust them and their mission completely.

It´s my birthday. Usually, I just let it pass by, holding my breath, feeling no need to celebrate a year older, because I too, was violated, and have been crippled by low self-worth my whole life. But last year was such a low point, that I decided that was no way to live!
Please celebrate with me by donating to FairFight? I hope to reach my goal of NOK 10 000 / USD 1100 so that young women in FairFight´s two projects in Marondera, Zimbabwe and Varanasi in India can receive some much needed support. It will be from all of us.
